Gar-Lin Dairy Farm is a multi-generation farm owned by Gary and Linda Allen and their children, Dean Allen and Dana Allen-Tully. The business includes the Dairy
and Agronomy Center forming the dairies Operating Company.
Gary sets the farm's general direction. He does the milk marketing and works on the budget and financing. Linda also works with the farm's finances. In addition, she does landscaping and runs errands.

Dean works with the sand separator, crops and manages all the people who work outdoors, including the employees who put up feed and feed the cattle. Dean is also the farm's maintenance supervisor.

Dana manages the farm's dairy operation and the dairy employees. She manages youngstock care and herd nutrition. She also oversees internal and external collaborations acting as the public relations and dairy education director. Dr. James Tully, Dana's husband, advises the management team on herd nutrition. He is a partner in Pine Creek Nutrition headquartered in Tulare, Ca.

Jay Miller manages the agronomy enterprise which consists of 4,100 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa hay, sweet peas and sweetcorn. He is an agronomist by education and maintains his accreditation as a Certified Crop Advisor. Jay is passionate about implementing sustainable farming practices that reduce soil erosion while growing high quality feeds

Our dairy involvement extends to associations and organizations on a local, state and national level. We connect with foundational programs like the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge "NAIDC". We support their educational challenge and mission to: "Develop tomorrow's dairy leaders and enhance progress of the dairy industry, by providing education, communication and networking among students, producers, and agribusiness and university personnel".
Gar-Lin Dairy is the second largest employer in the Eyota area with 45 full-time and 8 part-time people. We are a proud partner in our local community and place preference on contracting with local vendors at the dairy whenever the opportunity arises.
